Investigation of open-source and maker movements. open design principles and DIY 2.0 practices in design. Exploration of models of open knowledge sharing. open-source licensing. and the Design Global Manufacture Local (DG-ML) approach. Examination of city-level circular economies and cosmolocalism as frameworks for distributed and sustainable design.
