Course Content
Practice-on-theory course providing an overview of the following: design methods employed in the field of product design; definitions of design and design methodology from various perspectives; emergence of industrial design as a profession; theoretical and practical implications of early and recent design methods; models for structuring the design process; types of thinking employed in design; the nature of the act of designing and the role of the designer.
