Historical overview of human factors and ergonomics in design. Human physical and cognitive capabilities and limitations in user-product interactions. including topics such as anthropometry. biomechanics. posture. movement. perception. memory. information processing. human error. and safety. Principles of user-centered and inclusive design considering human variability. Familiarization with user research methods and their application in the user-centered design process.
