Course Content
ARCH 291 Landscape Design is a studio‐based course dealing with the design problematic of outdoor spaces through landscape design lens. The course mainly focuses on landscape design process that provides students with every stages of design; site visit. observation and recording; analysis and synthesis; landscape design brief. initial ideas and conceptual diagrams; 1:500 and 1:200 scale landscape plans. sections and elevations; details; verbal and graphic presentation of a final landscape design project.Design process is integrated with a series of lectures and recommended readings.
