Course Content
This course will cover the area of network security with emphasis on mobile communication systems and provide students with the tools to evaluate the security of current and evolving cellular and mobile systems. The course provides a strong foundation in mobile/cellular systems and security. The following topics are covered: Security in wireless and mobile environments security in wireless local area networks (IEEE 802.11x), security in mobile telecommunications (GSM, UMTS, 3G, 4G).
