Course Content

Introduction to the policy and most recent legislation of the EU on Environment and Climate
Change with a view to compare with the existing national legislation; introduction to the
negotiations on accession of Turkey to the EU; pre-accession financial assistance programmes
(IPA); project cycle management and preparation of project proposals; selection, identification,
preparation, procurement and implementation of municipal infrastructure projects in the field of
water and waste management
