Course Content
The concept of child protection, the subject of child law, the concept of children’s rights, the historical development of children’s rights in world law, the rights of children in international treaties, the basic principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Children, the child and legal status in the Turkish legal system, the special children law, social assistance and security, dealing with children in education and labor law, the duties of psychological counselors to protect children’s rights, the roles and functions of psychological counselors related to children who are going through the legal process
