Course Content
Introduction to the analysis and teaching of drama and poetry; the study of selected plays and poems from Anglo-American and European Literature; familiarizing students with the basic characteristics and distinctive features of drama and poetry; ways of approaching and analyzing different kinds of plays and poems representative of different traditions; ways of teaching drama and poetry, and using drama and poetry and their linguistic and cultural properties in the language classroom.
