Course Content
CAD/CAM system hardware and software. Computer graphics basics and theory in 2-D and 3-D. Data-base fundamentals. Numerical analysis as applied to CAD. Introduction to optimization theory and applications of multidimensional optimization algorithms to nonlinear engineering problems with constraints. Discussions on engineering problems solved using the CAD approach.
