Course Content
General diversity of bacteria within freshwater environment. Use of taxonomic, biochemical, and molecular methods for the characterization of freshwater bacteria. Genetic interactions between freshwater bacterial populations. Diversity of metabolic activities, productivity, community structures and interactions with phytoplanktons.
