Course Content

Upon completion of the course students will gain insight on developments in the instrumentation and use of fluorescence labels. They will be familiarized with the applications of the new fluorescence dyes and proteins to biological samples. Review of case studies of new methods such as single molecule detection in living cells, fluorescence energy transfer techniques to identify protein-protein interactions and fluorescent biosensors will help students excel in this developing field.
